Recent trip to Avantika Temple, Bulandshahr, U.P. Avantika temple is located in a small village  on the banks of Ganga River near  Bulandshar in U.P. This is the oldest temple and said to be from Dwapar yug. River Ganga flows by the side of this temple.   In Avantika Devi temple the Devi (statue)  appears in two forms, one is Jagadamba on right side and on left side Sati. Stanch belief of devotees that  Prayers offered to Avantika Devi fulfills all wishes.. Many unmarried girls offer prayers especially on Dusehra festival and pray Devi to fulfill their wishes to have husbands of their choice.
